Fired in a traditional wood-fueled dragon kiln in Shuiji Town, the glaze reveals shifting hues of emerald, sapphire, and silver—colors that emerge only under the extreme and unpredictable atmospheres of natural flame firing. The effect is subtle in ambient light yet luminous under focused illumination, echoing the hidden aurora within the kiln’s depths. No two pieces follow the same crystalline paths, making each vessel a singular expression of wood-fired yohen.
