Aurora Cascade represents The Phoenix Kiln’s exclusive Dragon Kiln wood-fired Yohen glaze—an achievement born from fire, ash, and precision beyond control.
Its surface flows with silvered crystalline streams across hues of emerald, sapphire, and violet, evoking the shifting light of an aurora at night.
Each piece carries the authentic marks of the dragon kiln—subtle flame trails and ash deposits that form naturally in wood firing. In daylight, the glaze glows with its own quiet iridescence; under LED light, it transforms into a cascade of color and light.
With continued tea use, the surface develops a gentle patina—a tea-nurtured glow that deepens and evolves uniquely with time.
Handmade in Shuiji Town, Jianyang, Fujian, with local iron-rich clay and naturally iron-bearing mineral glaze.
