A persimmon-red to orange-red Jian Zhan wood-fired in a 100-meter Skyward Dragon Kiln, where extended flame travel produces a vivid yet grounded glaze.
The surface develops within the persimmon-red iron spectrum, carrying warm, luminous tones shaped by natural kiln transformation. Fine silver crystalline specks appear across the glaze, accompanied by subtle interpenetration of secondary tones beneath the surface, formed through layered heat and atmosphere variation.
Despite its brightness, the overall character remains restrained and time-aged, reflecting the depth and complexity unique to large-scale traditional dragon kiln firing.
