A refined example from the Hundred-Meter Skyward Dragon Kiln, characterized by a naturally formed radial crystalline transformation. Fine mineral striations extend outward from the center while micro-crystalline iron particles disperse across the glaze surface, creating a layered structure developed through prolonged high-temperature wood firing.
Subtle variations in light reveal shifting metallic tones and depth within the glaze, a visual effect typical of complex dragon-kiln atmospheres. With regular tea use, the surface may gradually develop greater warmth and clarity as the glaze matures.
Handmade in Shuiji Town, Jianyang, Fujian, using local iron-rich clay and naturally iron-bearing mineral glaze.
