Jade Infusion is a dragon-kiln wood-fired Jian Zhan defined by its jade-like mineral glaze and naturally developed crackle structure.
This share cup is formed as part of the same firing system, using identical raw clay and mineral glaze as the teacup series. The glaze undergoes low-temperature crystallization around 1100°C, producing a stable underglaze structure that allows gradual interaction with tea over time.
Compared to high-temperature oil-spot or yohen Jian Zhan, this glaze retains a more open mineral state. With continued use, tea may slowly enter the crackle network, forming natural tea lines and subtle tonal variation. This process is gradual and irreversible, reflecting long-term use rather than immediate visual change.
The pouring form is hand-shaped, with a controlled spout for steady flow and reduced dripping. As with all pieces in this series, the glaze result is no longer consistently repeatable due to kiln condition changes.
Each piece is fully handmade and individually numbered, representing a limited body of work from this specific firing period.
