Where molten ember meets the heart of darkness.
Emberforge embodies the alchemy of flame and iron within the hundred-meter Skyward Dragon Kiln. Across its form, ember-red crystallization rises through layers of deep umber and black, as though metal and fire were forged into one. The surface exudes a quiet strength — a patina reminiscent of aged copper and polished rosewood, formed only in the rarest conditions of natural wood firing.
Inside, the glaze radiates from molten orange to a luminous dark core, where minute crystals glimmer like sparks held in suspension. Each layer reveals the dialogue between heat, ash, and iron — a slow transformation that no two firings can repeat.
Only forty-eight pieces of this glaze type were selected this year from the entire Skyward Dragon Kiln production — each an unrepeatable testament to fire’s precision and chance.
A singular work from The Phoenix Kiln — born of flame, gravity, and time.
Handmade in Shuiji Town, Jianyang, Fujian, with local iron-rich clay and naturally iron-bearing mineral glaze.
