DaisyFlare is a tea-dust glaze expression within the Daisy Series, formed through traditional dragon-kiln wood firing. Variations in flame movement, ash interaction, and kiln atmosphere shape the development of iron crystals within the glaze.
Across the russet-toned surface, iron crystals formed radiating petal-like patterns characteristic of the DaisyFlare variation. The large vessel form further increases firing difficulty, as stable crystallization becomes harder to maintain during prolonged high-temperature wood firing.
Handmade in Shuiji Town, Jianyang, Fujian, using local iron-rich clay and naturally iron-bearing mineral glaze.
