A structured variation within the tea-dust (Cha Mo) glaze category, this Daisyfall Jian Zhan is defined by a centralized nucleus with directional outward growth. Crystallization organizes around a focal core and extends radially, rather than forming a uniformly dispersed granular surface.

Formed during high-temperature wood firing in a 100-meter Skyward Dragon Kiln, the iron-rich glaze undergoes phase separation and localized aggregation under sustained thermal conditions. During cooling, crystallization stabilizes along these concentration gradients, resulting in directional organization within the tea-dust matrix.

Fine natural crackles are present within the vitrified glaze surface.

Such formations require a precise balance of iron content, glaze composition, and kiln atmosphere, and occur only in limited quantities within each firing cycle.

Handmade in Shuiji Town, Jianyang, Fujian, using local iron-rich clay and naturally iron-bearing mineral glaze.
