Blooming Field is a rare orange-red crystalline glaze produced through traditional wood firing in the hundred-meter Skyward Dragon Kiln of Jianyang, Fujian.
During prolonged firing, iron-rich minerals transform under alternating oxidation and reduction conditions, producing the distinctive orange-red crystalline surface and subtle metallic character that define the Blooming Field series.
The final result is shaped by kiln atmosphere, flame movement, ash interaction, and mineral composition within the hundred-meter dragon kiln. Because these variables cannot be fully controlled or repeated, every successful piece is naturally one of a kind.
Handmade in Shuiji Town, Jianyang, Fujian, using local iron-rich clay and naturally mineral-bearing glaze.
